STOTT PILATES incorporates modern exercise principles, including contemporary thinking about spinal rehabilitation and athletic performance enhancement. For example, some approaches may promote a flat back, whereas STOTT PILATES exercises are designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and rebalance the muscles around the joints, placing more emphasis on scapular stabilization. As well, there are more preparatory exercises and modifications to cater to many different body types and abilities, making it applicable to everyday life.
We are a home studio offering both private and semi-private sessions.
Semi-private sessions will be limited to one equipment type for 1 hour, whereas private sessions can be customized to the individual and has the option to utilize various equipment types.
Reformer
A dynamic, full-body workout performed on a spring-resisted Reformer machine that builds strength, improves alignment, and enhances mobility through smooth, controlled movements.
Barre
A ballet-inspired workout to music combining Pilates, dance, and strength training to tone muscles, improve posture, and increase endurance through small, targeted, high-repetition movements.
Group class offered weekday mornings, and select evenings, at ICON Dance in Angleton. Schedule posted monthly.
Stability Chair
A compact, spring-loaded chair that challenges balance and core control while strengthening the entire body through precise, functional movements.
Cadillac
A versatile Pilates apparatus featuring bars, springs, and straps that allows for deeply supported stretching, strengthened stability work, and advanced movement training.
Mat Pilates
A grounded, equipment-free practice focused on core strength, posture, and mindful movement using bodyweight exercises and small props for added support or challenge.

Customized Private Sessions
A program customized for you based on body type and personal fitness goals. This will incorporate Pilates principles through the use of various equipment types.
